Question about Adding a Second HR20

628 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  iacas
I currently pay $48.99 for Total Choice Plus and $5.99 for my HR20. I get the four free months of HD channels, too.

I kept my old DirecTiVo and hooked it up upstairs to a really old TV (a single coaxial input only!). It still has my old season passes and some old content, etc. I pay $0.00 for it and the DTV site lists it as "second DVR." (The DTV site also says I'm using a plan no longer offered, probably because of the $1 I save on the TCP plan).

At any rate, I'm wondering: if I replace the DirecTiVo with a second HR20, will I pay more than $54.98/month?

I am not sure how you are not paying a mirroring feed for your DirecTivo.

There should be a $4.99 fee attached to that receiver.

Most likely, if you replace that DirecTivo... you will go up $4.99 for the mirroring fee.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I probably won't mess with it for awhile until I can find a reasonable (and small-ish) HDTV for the bedrooom.

Thanks.
