i have had directv for sometime now and wife was nice enought to get me a new sony 40" lcd for my birthday a month ago. i have just ordered a new hd-21 dvd for it and will be here later this week. and curious as what to do i currently have the 3 lnb head on my slimline dish i have up here now do i have to upgrade to the 5 lnb head to continue to get all my programming.

i have found one on ebay and the price was reasonable should i order it now and install it once it arrives or can i leave things the same for now. any help would be greatly aprreciated'

Did you order the HR21 from Directv?
If so, it should come with installation which will include an upgraded dish (and multi-switch if you need it).

If you do have a slimline, your all set dish/lnb wise

The slimline only looks like it has three LNB assemblies. In reality the center one receives signals from multiple sats.
