So I got it up on my network. It dhcp'd at first but then on my dhcp server I wanted to statically give it an ip. The only way to get the hr20 to re-dhcp (to get its new static assignment) is to tell it to restore defaults on the network screen. Just fyi.

anyway after about 5 minutes the music/photos link finally showed up, I click on my computers and then I see my Infrant Readynas. However I see nothing under that (no photos or music). Simply must be because my infrant wants user authentication, is there any way to add user auth to the HR20? I'll try removing that requirement from the infrant to see if it works without it but I'd still like to add it back and have the hr20 just be able to authenticate.

Did you ever get the HR20 to see the ReadyNAS? When I have both online at the same time the HR20-700 freezes and I have to reboot. I have a friend that has the same problem and we are both looking for solutions.

UPDATE: I found the problem for the freezes. When using the ReadyNAS X6 you have to disable Services>Discovery Services> UPnP or the HR20 will consistently freeze. I am still trying to get the files on the X6 to show up in the Hr20 and any help would be appreciated.
