Question on using HR20 w/ 1 sat connection and OTA.

Can I hook up my HR20-100 using only one satellite connection and the OTA input? I assume the answer is yes, but then, how will it function? Will I be able to only record/watch one program at a time even if one if them is OTA and one is satellite? I believe that is how the HR10-250 worked, but I'm trying to find out if the HR20 is the same. I'm sure somebody (everybody) here knows this answer, but I can't find it by searching the site.

With the HR20 you will be able to record/watch live 1 Sat channel and up to 2 OTA channel with a max of 2 records at once.

Really? That's pretty cool. Can it really keep track of whether the scheduled recordings are on OTA or Sat channels to know whether there can be either one or two recordings possible without conflicts at any one moment? Or will I be getting "searching for satellite" messages? What about when it is already recording on a Sat channel, will I still be able to "surf", but only through OTA channels?

Yep - this is a very nice change from the HR10.

Yes, if you are recording sat you can still surf OTA.
