questions - is this legal???

does anyone know out there if your a subcontractor and you buy your wire and directv allows 120 feet from dish to reciever before you can charge custom labor - shoudl the check go in my name or the company im subcontraing for? also does anyone know or have to pay a 10% retainage out of all checks to total $1000? is this allowed?

If he has to ask that question about his contract, he dosen't know where to post it. Guess he dosen't know about retailer or installer forums.:)

Perhaps he doesn't know where to post it because the (DISH FORUMS) DOES NOT contain a thread for installers like DirectV does.
Look at the forums he is posting in before you forget to welcome him and look at the question he asked.

I think a common starting point or a logical point is called "GOOGLE":)
you can charge extra after so many feet. It will be very rare that you go over 120 feet in one shot. Also my company does do 10% retaining from new hire checks up to 500 dollars in case when they leave there are any chargebacks. After 90 days they get whats left back.
