I have the new 5lnb dish installed here in NC at my place about a month ago and have a quick question regarding my standard def dvr. I noticed that on my hd dvr under setup it shows 5lnb dish as the sat. My question is should it not say that for my standard def dvr as well, because it currently says 3lnb when i checked it the other night.

nope. all non hd equip will online read 3lnb, no the r22 will show slimeline 3 or it may say5lnb, not a 100% on that one

The satellite setup on the R22 is just like the HR21 series. But, of course, it will not display any HD channels or even show them in the guide.
