I found the answer to the problem. I had not setup the TV code, only AV1 and RF for DTV. Once I added the code for TV, everything worked.
RC-64 NFL remote issue with Sony receiver
I have a new NFL remote, looks great, but does not control the volume on my Sony DA555ES. My older RC32 works great. I used the 990 code to extract the code from the old remote(31058). That is also the code from the directv website. I have tried all the codes listed in the manual with the new remote for Sony. Any other thoughts? I know I can scan, but I am thinking there might not be a code that will work with the receiver. TIA
