None of the codes in the Guide work for TV Power on my two Panasonic TVs, although volume, mute and TV Input work fine. My Panasonic plasma will turn off with the Off button, but not on, and an older Panasonic CRT set won't turn on or off. Does anybody have suggestions (other codes to try, code search--yechh)?

Sorry, just use the middle POWER key in the TV device.

My panny (2002 RPTV) works great with the codes. Does your plasma have discrete off and on codes? The remote may not understand and likely does not allow same since it assumes that on=off=the same code for most TVs.

If all else fails perhaps a universal remote may work for you. Harmony or other?

My two Pannys work fine with the D* remotes, but they are both current models.
