Sign me up for some of that.
But post Gore vs Bush 2000, he is completely biased. Not even a pretense of non-partisanship. And he blatantly lies about O'Reilly.djlong said:I don't think so. I've been watching him long enough to see how he skewered Clinton when the Democrats were in charge. It's just that the GOP is the big easy target these days.
I think Maher is a nut who belongs to the Bill Maher Party. Its pro-vegan, anti-marriage, anti-religion, pro-alternative "medicine", and sometimes borderline libertarian (or is it libertine). Yet he is sympathetic to restricting privacy rights because he's worried about living near the Port of Los Angeles. In other words, it's all about him.Supramom2000 said:But post Gore vs Bush 2000, he is completely biased. Not even a pretense of non-partisanship. And he blatantly lies about O'Reilly.
I think you are correct on our divergence!! But O'Reilly does not lie - that I have found, and he states he is not a newscaster but a commentator. He certainly has his arrogance like most of them. But I don't think it is "all about him" - as evidenced by his passionate work on Jessica's Law.phrelin said:But that's just my opinion. I think here's a place our opinions diverge?![]()
I'll accept the Jessica's law thing is evidence. And there are many times I find Maher very irritating, even offensive, and not funny. But I find that with many comedians any more.Supramom2000 said:I think you are correct on our divergence!!
