rebates.............

just got my directv installed on thursday. VERY nice and professional installer!

i went to directv's website to check some things out. i was thinking there was a $5 rebate for signing up for auto payment, but, maybe it was a dream i had leading up to the actual installment date. :D

anyway, didn't see anything like that listed on my available rebates.

anyone shed any light on this?

When I went through the link in my rebate email, I was given two choices: one without the autopay rebate and one with it. The difference was the 5.00 per month.

I received the rebate email just before my install, with instructions to use the link once the install was finished.
