Evidently more bugs in this release than I thought.
I have shows that are scheduled to record that are showing up in duplicate now? When I went to cancel one of the episodes it came back and said it way already recording and did I want to let it continue or cancel? Well the shows aren't even scheduled to record until tonight. Rather than take a chance on losing both, I just exited out of it.
Now I'm trying to set up a Ryder Cup series and when I do a search I get nothing but a day two showing. Nothing on day one or day three. I went into the guide and went to ESPN and scrolled over to 8am Friday to set up the recording and it's not there! I scrolled out all the way to 1pm and all I see is "Upcoming: BCS Countdown"! The BCS program starts at 8pm Thursday night and continues on for as far out as the guide goes. This not just on ESPN, but on all channels?

After reading your post, I checked my HR34 and have the same problems you listed. When I cancelled a scheduled recording (I have a couple that are "expendable" it asked me if I wanted to keep the partial recording. This was for a recording to take place at 7PM tonight.
I manually scheduled a recording to start at 9AM (just to see what would happen) and then decided (at 8:00) to do a menu reset. When I told the receiver to reset it stated that it would conflict with my current event.
Resetting did not resolve the issue, and DID cancel my 9 am recording. I've rescheduled the recording to see if it will even record.

Yes there are now a couple of screens that report a recording is on going when it isn't, followed by a keep/delete for a non existent recording.
The guide needs to update so give it time and those programs will should up.
Generally, this only has a few nuisance screens, but works.

It looks like the VOD skipping issues has FINALLY been fixed with this release!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
