I have been having lots of trouble with my receiver but I don't think this is related to sofware releases per se, so am starting a new thread.

I am only able to power on and access the receiver via the remote - in other words none of the buttons on the front work anymore.

Has anyone else seen this?

Is there a reset for this part of the box (already did a rbr which did not work)?

I have mentioned this elsewhere in this (DVR Plus HD) forum, but thought it would be better as a new issue.

Do the lights on the front panel work? If not, maybe a connector has come loose inside. Regardless, it sounds like you might want to call D* and get the unit replaced.

If the RBR didn't work unplug the receiver for a few munites. Plug it back in and see if that works.
