This may be a stupid question but...
Can you hook up two receivers to one tv?
Have DVR receiver in sunroom that is not heated in winter
and HD receiver in LR.
Is it possible to hook up the two so we could watch
the HD then when we go to bed switch to the DVR
so as to record while asleep for playback later?
Might there be another jack or could I unhook one and hook up
the other one when needed?
TIA, Craig.:)

yes it can be done. it all depends on how many inputs your tv has and how you want to run the wiring. i have the following hooked up to my panasonic hdtv 622,612,and 3 508"s

It can be done, but unless you are very familiar with Dish installations, I strongly recommend against moving your DVR or changing the connections. This is especially true if it is a 2-room DVR, as the connections on them usually involve diplexing, which can get complicated quickly and must be exactly right for everything to work.

Call Dish and tell them you'd like to change the TV that the DVR is connected to an that you need a Service Call.
