Call Dish Network and confirm the receiver numbers (R01...) and smart card numbers (S19...) of your boxes, then they will send an authorization "hit" which should clear up your issue. If not, unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and plug back in.
You may have answered my question, I wasnt sure if Dish did a initial "authorization hit" or if it stayed in the stream.
I had to run cables to the other areas so not all the boxes were online when I made my initial set up call to dish and now that Ive got around to it maybe I need to have them do this again??
The reciever #s all match my online account, I guess I thought the recievers would download the authorization once they were connected and did their downloads??
After the initial activation, the system sends "hits" automatically for about 30 minutes. Exceed that time and you need to call in. Pretty common, they should have you going in no time.
