Was one of your tuners tuned to an OTA station? I've had funny things happen when I'm tuned to OTA and the signal drops - even if I'm watching a DVR event.
Recorded/corrupt show confuses 622
I have a one hour recording of Firefly in HD, which at a certain point in the recording (about 10 minutes in) displays some messages - which appear to be at the time of recording - stating "signal quality low" (or something to that effect). It then completely siezes up the box, not allowing me to watch even live TV.
I'm assuming it's basically a corrupt recording but I'm not sure why it's causing the other issues. Seems like the entire 622 gets extremely confused and unable to do anything else. I left it over night and in the morning it appears to have recovered just fine.
Obviously I'll delete that particular recording to avoid the problem - but has anyone else observed this type of behaviour before?
