How do I transfer recorded events to my pc via the USB port? I know how to transfer via RCA's, I cannot get USB and pc to sync. Is there a problem with pc? Brand new HP dv9030us Pavillion Entertainment PC. I get an error that there is no device connected to USB when trying to sync within both pc and reciever DVR625

Dish decided to make their units so that we cannot "download" to computers thru the USB port.

Asking how to "hack' around their design, even if you own your unit, is not allowed on this site--a simple rule for this site.
