Curious if the HR2x has more flexibility than the 10-250 did on recording shows in Dolby. We could never do it on the 10-250 because we sometimes view directly to the TV without our receiver and sometimes with the receiver. Since the TV wasn't Dolby compatible it was just safer to always have it set to not since it warned that a Dolby recording would have issues if played on a non-Dolby source.

I assume the same is try with the HR2x series? If would be nice to record in Dolby but be able to play from any source with a downgraded audio when it wasn't available. In theory the box could handle the down converting, just as it does with video output.
