About 100 hours of DVR recordings from my DVR vanished!

They aren't even in the History, they are just gone!

That is very strange. Can you try a front panel reboot (hold down the power button until the unit resets) and see if they come back?

If that doesn't work, try running a check switch and then exit. This will force a guide update and re-establish a sat. connection. I seen this clean up timer issues.

I don't know if I've ever seen recordings disappear from a 622 but I have seen timers disapear until a reboot/guide update is done.

Also, moving this to the 622 support forum.

I did a soft reboot (hold power button)
And a Hard Reboot (pull the chord) But no luck.

Makes me wonder if E* sent a format command to clean up the "On Demand" junk and wiped it clean.

It still records fine but everything I had saved is gone.
The history is correct. It shows the last program I deleted 2 days ago but none of the programs I was saving.

I think they are gone because it shows 192 hours of SD free space.

I had 13 hours of SD and 3 hours of HD saved.

I will try the check switch but I'm not optimistic.

Look and see if anything in diagnostics shows up. Reformat partition? Fail FS? Anything interesting?

MENU-6-3 (Diagnostics)
Then select "Counters"

Hard Drive counters are in the second section

On all my receivers "#6 Reformat Partition: 0x0000," yours is 0x1000? Don't know what that means but all else looks good.
It means a partition was reformated. Not sure if its a count of how often or which partition. One of mine, which did reformat the DishOnDemand partition, shows a 0x2000. As far as I know mine was only reformated once
