I am experiencing red and green bars primarily on the right and left side of the screen. They are pretty much centered vertically and they come and go. It happens on HD and SD. I have switched TVs with no effect. I have it with HDMI and component connections. It only happens on one receiver. If I swap between receivers it goes away till I switch back. Any ideas?

Since you have replace the receiver and it goes away sounds like it that unit has problems. Guess is the connection inside has a problem & will fail before long. Call and try and get a replacement unit thru the advance tech dept.
