a month ago i did the refer a friend with my neighbor and started getting the credits already. however i was wondering if they cancel before their 2yrs are up or before the 1st year, does directv take back the credits they have already given me since that customer did not stick to their agreement?

Friend would have to pay an Early termination fee if they quit early, so DirecTv gets their money.

But if they cancel before the 10 months, do you continue to get credits? Obviously the person that joined loses them and it's not applied to the fee. I'd think you would once you start getting them.

Once the referal signs up and gives your account as the referring entity, the 10 months of $10 starts on your account and continues no matter if they cancel or suspend their account.
