Decent free utility. Might speed up your PC a bit depending on how much stuff you have downloaded and installed on the hard drive and then later uninstalled without all of its associated files properly deleted. Uninstallers are notorious for not working properly with a lot of the freeware stuff I try out so its worth a look if you don't have something like Norton Works.
Once you install this utility do the following:
1.. Go to Tools and choose Registry Cleanup.
2.. Select "Do Them All."
Then select all the files you no longer have any use for and delete them..
Be aware of the cautionary warning at the end of this article:
"As I mentioned earlier, toying with the Registry can be dangerous. Please use this free file with care and don't use its advanced features unless you know what you're doing."
