My DTV remote will not see the DTV receiver. I've tried using two different remotes, neither will work. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks.

Think some basic questions need to be asked:
What receiver and remote are you trying to use?
Are you or have you ever used the RF mode?

The box is an HR24 and the remote is the RC64R. It was also on RF mode.

So what I'd now do is to change it back to IR, but since the remote no longer "talks", you'll need to use the front panel and navigate through the menus to change it.
