I just got dish installed at my new house with a 722. Had dish before a year ago and was able to program the remote to power everything on with one button press. (tv, audio receiver, dish- 625 then) . How can I do that this time.? cant find the code in any guide.

thank for the reply, I had programmed it for the tv, thats easy, I wanted the code for one touch system power (turn on sat, tv, and audio receiver (aux) with one button press (top red button). did it before so I know it can be done just cant find the code

that was the first place I looked, it just covers basic setup and programming the components

In order to be able to turn on and off multiple hardware types with one or two buttons, your remote must do macros.

The Dish remote does not do macros.

Universal Remotes (URC) are nice too... I have a MX-810 which works well though a bit cumbersome to program (dumbed down so technical people can't figure it out lol)
