Remote Question

I truly hate asking question that may be stupid, but I must ask. How does one get their D* remote to work on multiple devices? For example, I have a Mitsubishi DLP and I have the HR-20 working on it. I set the remote to work with the TV, but the ONLY buttons that work are the volume. I can not get buttons like "input" to work. One of the techs was here and punched in code 917 or something and was able to get it to work, but I use a new remote for the TV now. Does anyone know of what I speak?

to program the input key you use code 960, like so:

1. tv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9-6-0

but key is getting the right code. I have a westinghouse and I can get it to turn on/off and volume controls just fine but cant get input key or mute to work. Mute just turns volume down 1 notch

You may have to program the input key Seperately! I had to do that on my samsung!

I have a Mitsubishi DLP (brand new) and the codes the HR20-700 do not work to program the remote to work with the TV. Any other codes for programming the volume, power, and input?

Thanks for this. I did it and it did activate the input button. However it just brings up the device menu of my TV. Do you know what button to press to select? Also, are there other codes you know about to do stuff like FF a DVD player? I was under the assumption this was a universal remote. It does not appear to be very user friendly.
