Return a new H20-100 Receiver to BB

I have just bought a new leased H20-100 receiver from BB last week. However, I am not thinking about upgrading to a HD DVR service and want to get it from Costco. Since I have already activated my H20-100 receiver with D*, I need to cancel the service. Can I simply call D* to deactive this H20-100 receiver and return it to BB? What is the best way to handle it?

Directv is going to want the H20-100 returned to them, they will send out a prepaid shipping box to return the receiver to them. you might be able to get an upgrade to a DVR deal from Directv.

No, it needs to go back straight to DirecTv. If you return it to BB, they may give you your money back, but that will be way offset by the non-returned equipment charge that you'll get hit with from DirecTv.

As or270 said, they will (eventually) send you a return shipping box to return it to them.
thanks guys... just sucks.
