So I had a message from Directv to shedule my install. But before I called them back I wanted to know if anyone knew if they had a return policy on the new DVR. My main concern is they are going to install it and my wife & I might not like and will want to roll back to our DirectTivo. So I am wondering if we will be able to just hook our old one back up and send them the other DVR back.

You would have to call them, to find out what happens with the programming commitment.

As you will certainly be able to re-activate your DTivo.
And I am sure they will accept the new/old unit

But I don't know what the policy would be for the "re-up" on the commitment would be.
