You will unless you find the right CSR, I was refused twice then the 3rd CSR when ahead and signed me up for Turbo HD by using my cell phone number instead of my home phone as the primary number. I was a Dish customer 4 years ago and they would not consider me a new customer if I used the same phone number. Good luckDeckGutter said:

I was a Dish customer and switched to DirectTV over 2 years ago. I am looking to sign backup with Dish for a TurboHD package. Will I have any issues as a returning customer?

I also just switched back and the results have been very very good. The 722 (in my case) is a much better HD DVR than the HR20 I had from "D". Especially the much larger hard drive and 3 available tuners (one for OTA). I wish Dish offered a lighted remote like "D" but I can live with it. Each have a few different HD channels available but soon they will both have them all anyway.
FYI. I called for new installation and did admit being a past customer. But, being more than 2 years, they treated me as a new customer.
