Disk space more than half free. I can duplicate this on any channel I am on. Sometimes it will work ok w/o locking up.

Unless there is something screwy with the RF/IR in your location, this sounds like some sort of hardware issue. It could be that one of the chips is not working 100% correctly. Especially if it happens often.

See if you can somehow cool the unit perhaps with a box or oscillating fan. If the problem goes away with the cooler temperature, then it is almost certainly one of the chips that "almost" works. Even if this trial fails, this does sound like a hardware issue to me.

Same problem here. Seems to be only with ota shows. When I switch to a local through d, no problem. Same with ota and recorded shows like leno. No rewind, no skip, just black screen with do you want to delete question. Yet on d's hd locals, no problem.

Hmm .. I don't have OTA. perhaps you are on to something.
