Rex Hudler signed to Multi-Year Contract Extension

From today's LA Times:
The Angels extended the contract of Rex Hudler, their television
analyst. Steve Physioc, the television play-by-play man, received a three-year extension when his contract expired last year. Hudler, whose contract was up this year, is believed to have received a three-year extension.

Thats good news! I love to listen to the Rex! He brings such a different angle than most analysts...

I like Rex. I think Steve is better on PAC-10 football and basketball. He's boring to me on baseball. Maybe that's because I can hear Steve on the FSN backhauls during the college seasons? Steve made so many mistakes a few games ago at home that Rex was correcting him. I think it was about some pitcher for the Cardinals and him pitching and not getting the win or something like that. Rex corrected him 3 times in one inning and that was just the latest that I can remember.

I just pray and hope KCAL/FSN adds more games to the TV schedule next year. 90 games sucks in a market this big. OTA feeds & no blackouts of the other feed when the local team isn't televising would be nice too in EI.

I can't listen to Steve Physioc without thinking about Pac-10 football. :lol: He is a little odd doing baseball, but he is a company man.
