Yeah …it is. The 95 degree satellite, Galaxy IIIC I think it is, for DirecTV's international programming (WorldDIRECT) uses linear V/H polarization however. Specifically "horizontal" in this case.

What I always forget is the circular polarization labeled as "right" or "left" from the viewpoint of the transmitter antenna as it beams the signal away from itself. Or the receiving antenna observing the approaching wave front of the signal?
