$4.98 dosen't sound like a correct charge for anything try calling DISH for an explanation of your bill you and them are the only ones that legally have access to that information.

I was told yesterday by customer service of this charge. Today, I called back and asked about my billing details and they said the charge is for equipment rental. I think this is a better explanation for my fees - my bill only has a combined value for top 200 and locals, about $55.

This all started because I am considering adding HD service, turbo HD is available to me as an existing SD only customer - FYI.
