Ok guys, I have a baseball game showing on my SD RSN how come I don't have it in HD on my RSN's HD Feed?

Bunch of I don't knows for you. You didn't list the rsn in particular . . . so "I don't know." You didn't list if the website for the rsn states whether the game is available in HD . . . so "I don't know." And I have never heard of Babeball, and I have never heard of it being shot in HD, so again . . . "I don't know".

RSNs do not always provide an HD feed. Some do, but, not all.

Sorry for the misspelling garys, I meant baseball, the channel is fox sports southwest, the game was not shot in HD I guess, I thought that they all were, I am new to HD. Seems like they should all be shot in HD, I bet the home team had an HD feed of the game. Thanks for your help.

Out of curiosity, did you mean the Astros / Reds game? FSSW rarely has the Astros away games in HD, but they seem to have all the local games in HD. Probably has something to do with having to carry the HD equipment to the remote stadium, that's my guess at least. To be honest, I would rather them show the home teams feed and just have their graphics and commentators over it. That would be fine with me, the action would be the same, just the closeups and shots away from the action.

NO, but close it was the Rangers/Baltomore game. Now that I investigate texasragers.com I have found out that the same applies to the rangers away games. This is not right, if they are showing the game they should have a HD feed for those who want it.

Just curious, what did you find in the Rangers website? Last year they started carrying a few Rangers games on HD. This year the percentage has increased.

I found out that most of the out of town games that are shown on FSN Southwest are not shown in HD. I don't know why because the home team is surely airing HD, I don't know why they can't show that feed with FSN's announcers calling the game but, you know that would be to simple.

This is the case with most FSN games. Next year will be different as FSN will broadcast every single game in HD in every single market. Rather your area gets the game in HD depends on the provider though.

Nice... maybe I'll have my RSN back by then to witness this! Well NBA season is quickly approaching too, I get tired of the grainy SD they show on their away games.
