The 6 Nations Tournament begins Saturday, Feb. 4.

Here is BBCA's scheduled coverage in glorious SD.

The Super 15 season begins Friday, Feb 24.

Here's hoping D* will treat us to every game live in HD, as it did last year.

The D* web site has nothing on either of these competitions so far.
The feeds where the RAW ones with out any channel logos and no ad brakes just odd camera shots and background talking when there where ad brakes.

They used sky sports new zealand, fox sports australia, and supersport south africa feeds.

Fortunately I have access to BBC UK from here via my computers so will be watching every game (and some in glorious HD).

I was impressed with the Super15 with Directv last year and really hope we get the same again.

Being a Welshman born in the 60s and growing up when Wales were the top of Rugby, then moving to New Zealand for 8 years and seeing the mighty All Blacks... I live for my Rugby..... and Formula 1!!!!

For all those who have never watched rugby:

Do yourselves a favor.

Record a few of the late night / early morning games from the best Rugby Union competition in the world. 15 clubs from New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

It won't matter that you don't know all the rules. I've been watching for 15 years, and there are technical rules I still don't get.

But here's what you'll see.

80 minutes of action with no offensive / defensive substitutions.

No huddles.

No commercial breaks.

An 80 minute game, played in 110 minutes, including half time, as oppsed to a 60 minute NFL game played in 210 minutes.

Watch a few games and see if you don't get hooked.

PS to Samster: Thanks for the note. Another season of free Super 15 in very, very pristene raw HD backhauls is a real treat.

Great news! And thanks, D* !

I second this!!! I got hooked last year and its non stop action. I live on the west coast and by the end of the season I was getting up at 2am in the morning to catch some of the high profile matchups. On top of that the Super Rugby 15 final last year was pretty dang good as well!!
Cant wait for the 24th

The first round of Super 15 Rugby now appears in the on screen guide, channels 490 and 490-1.

For some reason, the PPV $ sign is there, although if you hit "Info" it says ...compliments of DIRECTV. And if you hit "Record" there are no additional PPV warnings.

Guessing - and hoping - the $ sign is just an error.

They do have an accurate schedule for this weekend's 7 matches.

Can't wait !

Some times I see PPV movies in the guide on RSN over flow channels.

May have some to due with the mapping and it should go away.
