Just curious, what is the speed of the SATA hard drive in the HR20-1.5 Gbps or 3.0 Gbps?
As usual, I believe you are right on the money. Having tried both the 1.5 and 3.0 setups, only 1.5 works (and it works just fine with my 500GB Seagate).Earl Bonovich said:I 95% sure it is at the 1.5 level.
As those that have tried to use externals have gotten better results setting those results to 1.5
I attached an eSATA drive and it works just fine - so I assume it's a 1.5 setup. But I didn't know you can change from 1.5 to 3.0 and vice-versa - how is that done?hdtvfan0001 said:Having tried both the 1.5 and 3.0 setups, only 1.5 works
That speed is set by the enclosure that you are using, so you would have to read it's manual, as each enclosure is different.rhvh2000 said:I attached an eSATA drive and it works just fine - so I assume it's a 1.5 setup. Its actually set based on the drive (and corresponding cable), not the HR20.rhvh2000 said:I attached an eSATA drive and it works just fine - so I assume it's a 1.5 setup. But I didn't know you can change from 1.5 to 3.0 and vice-versa - how is that done?
