Satellite Number question

491 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  buckeyez1
My service was just moved to a new location and when checking the satellite signal strength the satellite numbers are different. Instead of 99 a-b I have 99 c-s. And 103 a-b is now 103 c-s. Is there any difference??

No, the software was updated a while back and it changed the name on the HR2x's. The H2x's are still using (a) and (b).

103(c) was 103(b)
103(s) was 103(a)
99(c) is new but it would have been 99(a)
99(s) was 99(b)
It's just a different naming scheme on the H2x vs HR2x boxes. 103a and 99a are spotbeam birds and also knows as 103s and 99s. 103b and 99b are conus birds also known as 103c and 99c.
Thanks for the info.
