Saying goodbye to HD DNS Services
Just walked in and discovered a message on my answering machine from DirecTV stating that on AUguist 7, DirecTV will be disconnecting my HD DNS Services.
According to the message, DirecTV is no longer allowed to offer HD DNS Services to customers in areas where they offer locals in HD.
I admit that with us living on the East Coast that DNS Services have not been as beneficial as when we lived in Southern California and losing them really is not going to impact me greatly, I did enjoy having them.
Now if the networks would allow DirecTV to market out of market DNS services again, I'll be one of the first to sign up for them again..
