I've been watching the conventions over the last few nights and I noticed something I've not seen for a long time. That is, not since we gave up our 36" interlaced CRT TV. Scan lines. The TV is a JVC 52" LCOS set, 720p resolution and the programming was the HD CNN broadcasts of the conventions. As you see the speaker with the background behind him, I see what look like scan lines threading through the background.

Anyone else see this before? Otherwise, the usual programming is scan line-free.
