My apologizes if this has already been discussed. I was listening to channel 107 last night (Christmas music) and after about 5 minutes or so the screen saver came on which is what it is supposed to do. I then went to my playlist and began playing a prerecorded show. After about 5 minutes or so the screen saver would appear and the audio from the prerecorded show would continue to play. Hitting the play button brought back the video but once again after a short period of time the screen saver would reappear. I decided to exit out of watching the pre recorded show and change the live TV station on the tuner to ESPN. I went from there back to watching my pre recorded show again without any further screen saver issues. Seems the HR20 activates the screen saver function based on what live TV station/music station the tuner is tuned to and not what output the HR20 is using.

You hit the sleeping movie feature.

What is suppose to happen is by the time the screen saver comes on, you are suppose to be asleep and your wife is poking you and telling you, "Hey, fix your stupid TV!"

This is a feature that NO other hardware currently offers, that I am aware of.

Seriously, it is a known thing. You already have discovered the work around as well.

Merry Christmas!

D* is aware of the issue Earl has told me that the screen saver comes on and does not give one the data on the music- and I know one of the solutions being proposed.

I think D* is aware that the screen saver comes on when the other tuner is on something else or watching a recording.

Myself I would like a on off option (and that was not what was proposed.)

I'd also would like a on-off screen saver feature. when listening to Xm stations if would nice to instantly turn on the screen saver instead of waiting 5 minutes. Is there anyway to adjust the screensaver timer?
