Now my Screen Saver pops in WHEN I AM WATCHING LIVE TV and it never used to.

I leave one of my R-15's on overnight as its hooked to the kitchen and bedroom TV's too. My TV is my alarm clock and it goes on automatically.

Now after doing this for months and months when my TV turns on the Screen Saver is there or comes up after a short period. Making it useless now. This just started within the last few weeks.

Man, they cant fix crap after over a year and everytime you turn around they break something else that used to be working.

Does it still do that after a reset? How long before the screen saver kicks in?

I think I had this happen once - the R15 apparently tuned to a non-standard channel to download a showcase, and when it was done it stayed on that channel (1010 I think) with the screensaver on as there was no programming at that time.

A possible work around if this keeps happening (although it has only happened to me once) - set up two manual recordings for shortly before you want to wake up, to force the R15 to re-tune both tuners to active channels.

Your screensaver comes on when it shouldn't and mine doesn't even come on when it should. Ahhh... technology.

Now my SS issue went away but my jump to the end and 6 second jump back stopped working completly on one of my R-15's. They work fine on the other one.

I might do "another" reset but I did one just a few days ago to fix a SL issue.

I still have a SS problem after resetting in ADDITION to 6 second jump back quit working AND Live Pause quit working!!
