I have a Philips DSR 7000 R/17. (SD DVR)

Is it worth selling, or does the transition to MPEG-4 make it obsolete already?

It will still work fine for all of the SD channels. I'm still happily using several SD Tivos. But they don't bring much on eBay these days.
