So I scheduled the Chargers Raiders game on NFL ST today and when I go to play I get a blank screen and 'Searching for authorized content'. What the heck is that?

edit: can't blame the HR20, it was on local ch2 here so the ST recording is blacked. Now I know what THAT message means!

I hate this stupid box. I didn't set the same game up on my DirecTivo because I was in a hurry...
That is your HR20 telling you that you don't have the right to watch that content. It has happened to me when the HR20 has recorded something that was blacked out in my area or I did not subscribe to that channel.

Not related to the authorized content issue, but in HD I get every game, no matter whether it's blacked out in SD in my market or not. Not sure if this has to do with whether you have MP4 locals or not, but I don't have locals and I'm never blacked out in HD even if the corresponding SD channel game is blacked out.

As far as the rights, this seems to be an issue where the receiver isn't detecting you have the proper authorization - but only after recording (never when you're live if you have the ST package). I've seen other threads about this issue.

Perhaps the more accurate phrasings would be "your HR20 is telling you that it thinks you don't have the right to watch that content"

btmoore hit the nail on the head. I got this with a recording of the Simpsons last week. I checked the channel and it is the local Fox. Then checked the ratings filter, all set to green, even X. First time this has happend, but strange things are happening with FA so I am not going to complain yet.

I had the exact same issue with a PPV movie that I had for over 30 days and watched a couple of times. Then when I went to play again got the same message none of the other recordings this has happened too.
