Check your signal readings, especially on the 110-deg satellite.
Yes this has been seen, reported on this forum and I have had this problem. I had both tuners recording, and you could watch live on either tuner but it had the searching message up.Mixer said:I am trying to tune into ESPN HD. I see it in the guide. The picture comes on and it is in HD but it is showing that it is still searching for it on Sat 1.

Have the exact same readings on this satellite, and cannot get most national HD channels. Tech visit pending, but this reaks of a software problem that DTV refuses to address, especially as it seems to be of their creation in the most recent updates. Frustating.Mixer said:My 110 only has signal on three trasponders. Reading 92, 91 and 89
If that is the problem will unplugging Sat 1 while I watch that channel fix this?
Also if I can see the HD ABC channel in my guide and can view SD programming on it. Is that to say I will also be able to see the HD programming tonight or will it go black when the HD comes on?
Yep, those readings are fine.Mixer said:My 110 only has signal on three trasponders. Reading 92, 91 and 89

Yes, it's normal. DirecTV only uses 3 transponders on the 110-deg satellite. Dish Network uses the other transponders from that satellite location.Mixer said:Right but is that normal to have only three transponders showing a signal at all. My 101 shows signals on all transponders. Why only three on the 110? And what should I do about it?
