searching for satellite on HBO
I'm getting the err 771 on channels 206, 501 on both my tv's. I get HBO & ESPNHD on the channels in the 70's.
DTV phone service is a nightmare right now.
Any ideas about what mght be wrong? I tried a reset but same thing.

Please post your signal strengths!! it coudld be LNB, Multi Switch or Alignment Issue or an issue with Directv. Call them!!!
206, 209 gets 771. Don't have HBO.
Having to watch ESPN on 73.
Tried soft reset, red button reset, power off reset and none fix the problem.
Don't want to spend the time on the phone with customer service tonight.
I guess that I'll call them tomorrow.

Almost certainly you have poor signals on 99c (if you have a DVR check both tuners) or on 99a if you have a reciver..bangdemdrums said:206, 209 gets 771. Don't have HBO.

I have very low signal strengths on 99 & 103 (0 yesterday & approx 24 this morning). Called DTV yesterday & someone should be here this morning to fix.
