Can anyone tell me if they are getting SFSS on channels 702-1 or 703-1? this is starting to become an ongoing thing on sundays here and its really starting to wear thin.

No problem here.

Please post back with your signal readings for each satellite's transponders (and both tuners if applicable). You'll find these readings under "Menu" -> "Setup" -> "System Setup" -> Satellite -> "View Signal Strength".

Fill in your readings for each satellite and tuner using these examples. A properly aligned dish will show 80-90s on most of the relevant transponders (although some will be low or zero):

Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º)
[Most of your standard definition channels are beamed from 101ºW]

9-16 # # # # # # # #

Don't know what you mean by slow.

Yes, it is a problem if 99c registers 0.

Well, the list posted above says [Note: these can be very slow to appear] for some of the sats. And they are in this screen.

And, it can take a minute or two for me to begin receiving signal when I first switch to a local HD or national HD channel other than the repeats in the 70s.

I'm wondering what is normal.

Yes, it does take a few minutes for some of these signal strengths to appear. And you will not get any signal on a few transponders just b/c they aren't currently being used. All you have to do is PEAK your satellite signal on 103(c), being sure must are in the low to mid 90's and you will be good on every other satellite.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case, here. Maybe I'm misaligned. I just haven't had time to delve into that. I'll get there.
