Anywho, anyone watch it other than me?

I absolutely love it. The fourth episode has to be my favorite so far. They actually represented an alternative lifestyle without bashing it. And showed safety, and things that I thought actually did not shed a bad light.

I am a person that is all for shows that represent an open mind. Shows like Big Love..and now this one.

I agree - the latest episode on Showtime (Monday 7/7/08) was the best so far. Since the thread title doesn't have a specific episode date in it, I'll use spoiler tags for my comments on the episode ...

I liked this one the best because to me this had more character development for Hannah than the first three episodes combined. Sure, we got to see a few moments with her family, but we really didn't get to "know" Hannah - we've really seen mostly "Belle". In this episode, Hannah revealed how lonely she is and we saw her take out her frustrations on the client revealing exactly how important Ben is to her. When this episode ended, right after Hannah sent Ben the link to Belle's escort profile, that was the first time I immediately wanted to see the next episode. First time!

Yah, I thought the same thing. I watched the first on DOD and then set it up to record.

Its only 30 minutes, but I have thought that they used it wisely. And since there was not a thread at all about it other than a recording note, I thought I would just make one in general.

I've been watching... and I agree, what drew me into wanting to watch this series was the hopes of seeing character development and what makes the "real" Hannah tick. Belle is, by necessity, all show and never completely real... You need to see Belle to appreciate who Hannah is when they actually show Hannah being Hannah.

Sometimes people forget that other people are people... and we don't always see the true nature of a person.

I have to admit, however, I could have done without that one scene... and it isn't the one you might think someone would react to! I'm all for alternative lifestyles and people being happy doing what makes them happy... but I have to say, the depicted alternative way of cleaning the bathroom actually was kind of disturbing.:eek2:

I saw this via downloading it when they showed it on the BBC. I only watched it because of Billie Piper ('Rose' of Doctor Who fame) and I really enjoyed it. I was smart, adult and real pleasure to watch.

This last weeks episode was really only soso, but still ok.

Her friend seems to be able to handle her job much better than in previous episodes.

Did you see the previews for next weeks show? Really interesting.

I've only caught this show when traveling on the road for work...its available at the regular hotel I stay at near our offices. From what I've seen...its "entertaining"....but actually not as "R" rated as I thought it might be.

We Americans are prudes...you should see what's on regular TV in Europe...it makes this show look like the Disney Channel.

So far I have enjoyed it. I still have a hard time with the British accents and slang. But they have not been as thick as some shows.

Wasn't really looking for any kind of show...just happened upon it in the hotel a few times....sometimes it was actually humorous...

This last episode was weird.

Basically, it shows that Ben still has a thing for her. Quite obviously.
