Okay, we just recently noticed this issue and I was wondering if anyone else had seen it and knows what is going on.

The Setup: We set a SL for "Dog Whisperer" at 1200a. Everything sets up fine and the To Do list has the show listed.

However, there are other episodes of "Dog Whisperer" on immediatly after that are not set to record. Makes sense as that is not part of the SL.

If we try to choose one of the later episodes it says "This series already set to record"

How can you set a single recording of a show at a different time?

This also happened when my wife tried this on "Tennis" for the Australian Open.

Any Ideas?

This is the way that I assume the Series Link works. If you set up a Series Link for a program on the channel, it should record all occurrences of that program on that channel with a few exceptions( the episode is already scheduled at another time, or you have the SL to record First Runs only which would not record reruns).

As for recording things you already have an SL for, when you click on the program in the scheduler, can you click on the episodes option. If you select the program you are interested in, perhaps you can click on it and do a record once.

I have never done this, but I just offering something to try. Hope this helps

......or try going on the guide and hit the record button once on your remote.
