"Burn it" ha

I just threw mine in the trash, I didn't know what else to do with them no electronics store areund me, that I know of, would take them.

I love those recievers tho, I like the user interface, not the best but I like it.
You could try selling them on eBay, but don't expect much $$$ for them.

You may want to check with D*TV they may offer a recycling program. I can not see filling up a landfill with them. I would guess the system board has lead in it.

Or go with the $1.00 price $10.00 shipping eBay sale.
Do you have a thrift store you could donate to and take a tax deduction?
RCA DRD435 for the win!

I used to have 3 active in my house, but it got bumped down to 2 once I got my HR20. Hands down one of the best D* receivers I've ever owned. Every single RCA receiver I've had has been fantastic, with the huge exception of my RCA DTC210. That was my first D* HD box and I must say the worst D* box I've ever used.
Got any doors that need propping open?

Well, it is the perfect shape for that...

So if I go with the ebay sale, do I include the cards or not. Just worried about something happening with those and it getting back to me...

This guy buys old receivers.... I traded him a couple for the RF remote and antenna.

Thanks. But before I go there, do I want to include my access cards as well? I've heard conflicting stories...

No.... I never do, plus if you read the agreement the cards are the property of D* and D* can (Although they never have) ask for them back unless they tell you to destroy them. Just tell him what all you have (remotes, cables, etc.) and tell him you aren't providing cards, it's not a big deal, when you buy used from him he doesn't include cards.
