Setanta and UFC??

I am not really sure what the connection is. I read the article http://setanta.com/en/UK/Our-Sports/UFC/ and am left wondering if that means if you subscribe can you get the PPV's for those 3 events for $14.99 a month? UFC 89 should air for free on Spike TV anyways. Anyone know anything more on this?

If you put the cursor over the three events listed it says exclusive on Setanta sports. I guss this is a way for people in the US to pay $14.99 for Setenta and get UFC PPV's. Not sure why there is not more exposure for this. Not necessarily on here but on the MMA sites as well.
I believe that Setanta North America has different programming from Setanta UK and doesn't actually show any UFC events in the U.S.

When I went to the D* PPV site for this month there is no UFC PPV listed for the entire month. That kind of leads me to believe that maybe we could see them with a subscription to Setanta.

It's too early to look up listings for what will be on Setanta North America, so I don't know whether or not UFC will be on there (although I doubt it will be). Most likely, Directv just hasn't updated their site yet since all I see for event PPV is 2 events from September.

Here's a press release that says UFC 90 will be on Directv PPV. (from ufc.com)

UFC 90: SILVA vs. COTE is available live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network, TVN, Bell ExpressVu, Shaw Communications and Viewer's Choice Canada for a suggested retail price of $44.95 for standard definition or high-definition broadcasts (where available).

That add for UFC 90 was from July 27th. Alot has changed since then. D* has updated their PPV section. I looked on the 29th and it still had the UFC with Chuck and Rashad on there listed to oder. As soon as Oct. hit there is nothing on there list of events for UFC this month. I am not saying that the PPV's will be on Setanta but makes me wonder.
Are there no more UFC fans out there?

Use the calendar at ufc.com instead of the england site for the proper US ufc schedule. UFC 89 is free on spike and UFC 90 is pay per view oct. 25. Spike is also showing tons of ufc unleashed although none in true hd yet. The ufc 86 replay tomorrow nite and ufc 87 next sat may be finally in hd without the ppv fee. And the elitexc show tomorrow nite on cbs that my newspaper sports listing doesn't have. Couture hopes to fight Fedor after he beats Brock Lesner. Can't wait for that fight.

That isn't updated for UFC events until like a week before an event.
