I just flipped to our local ABC and it was dark so I flipped to the other local channels and they are all dark too. Anyone else around here having the same problem?

Weird I wonder what's going on...
Our HD locals down here in Salinas/Monterey have been dark for YEARS, and will probably stay that way! Deal with it.8^>
Confirming that they are out in SD too. At least non-locals are working. Was starting to think the satellites got hit by an asteroid
Locals are dwn here in the Sacramento region too. Went down at 7:40, at least that's when Big Brother stopped recording. :(

You get it at 7? It just started at 8 here... Recording an hour of darkness now. Time to hit the newsgroups for tonight's episode
I already watched Big Brother online earlier so luckily i'm not missing anything (even though I read spoilers for tonight yesterday lol
Yes...out in San Diego...went black at 7:40. Big Brother is recording darkness right now.
Screen now says, "No need to call us" Service will be restored as soon as technical difficulties are resolved.
Apparently it's all over. @directvservice has tweets from people all over the country. DirecTVs response to everyone is, "Thank you for providing your zip code. We are currently working to resolve."

Jenn City was voted out.

Danielle won HOH.

DirecTV locals still dark at 8:22.

At least CSNBA is still working and the Giants are up 6-3 and the Arizona just took the lead against the Dodgers.

I hope you didn't just spoil it for all of us waiting to watch this episode.

That would be a really screwed up thing to do.
Most local channels on the west coast are down right now on directv.
LA locals are still on, but they're CONUS, so it's probably an issue with the spots. Doesn't really matter though, since I'm watching the Giants game, too. :)
thats what I think. The spot beams on certain newer satellites must have went down.

stations that are not on spot beam, but are in a spot that the whole US can receive are conus.
