I am sorry if this has been discussed but my poor searching capabilities came up with nothing meaningful.

I have to HD-DVR's (1-HR20 and 1-HR21) one is used a lot since it contols my main TV and one is not used a lot because it is in the bedroom. They are both hardwired to Ethernet ...

Does anyone know of any future plans of being able to share programs between two or more DirectV DVR's and when it might happen

Yes, it is called MRV (Multi Room Viewing). If you do a search for MRV you will find some threads and post talking about it. But at this point any thing your read is 100% speculation except that it will be added at some point.

BTW I am moving this to the "DIRECTV HD DVR" forum.

It may happen someday...we hear they're working on it, but there has been no release date announced. If you search on "MRV" which is short for Multi-Room Viewing you'll find lots of posts on the issue.
